Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and [PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name] (“Dommi,” “we,” “us”). They govern your access to and use of the Dommi mobile application and the website at dommisociety.com (together, the “Service”). By requesting an invitation, creating a membership, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are 18 or older, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction.

Dommi is an invitation-only House. Admission is at our discretion. Requesting an invitation does not guarantee that you will be admitted, and we may decline, suspend, or revoke a membership where we consider it necessary to protect members or the integrity of the House. Membership is personal to you and may not be transferred.

You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You agree to give accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Every connection within Dommi begins with terms that both members set down and agree to. Consent is written, and it stays revocable. A seal marks agreement to the terms as they stand at that time. It can be paused or withdrawn at any time. It is not a permanent consent, and it is not a legal contract between members. You agree to honor the terms you seal for as long as they stand, and to respect any member’s decision to pause or withdraw.

You agree that you will not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to solicit or engage in any activity that is illegal where you or the other member is located.
• Harass, threaten, coerce, deceive, or endanger another member, or engage with anyone who has not freely agreed to engage with you.
• Involve, depict, or attempt to reach anyone under 18 through the Service.
• Share another person’s personal information, or record or redistribute another member’s content or communications without their consent.
• Impersonate anyone, misrepresent who you are, or create a membership on behalf of someone else.
• Upload content that is unlawful, that infringes the rights of others, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Interfere with, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.

You keep ownership of the Declarations, media, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process your content only as needed to operate and provide the Service to you and to the members you choose to share it with. You are responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights necessary to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

Dommi offers optional paid features. This may include auto-renewing subscriptions that provide premium expression, insight, and priority, and one-time (consumable) purchases such as refreshing the set of members presented to you. Prices and the features included are shown to you in the app before you buy.

• Purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple through your App Store account and are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Consumable purchases are delivered immediately and are not refundable once delivered, except where required by law.
• Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies. Any free trial or introductory offer converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Paid features sell expression, insight, and priority. They never sell more connections or the ability to buy reach over other members.

The Service relies on third parties, including the Apple App Store for distribution and billing, our hosting and data platform, our third-party artificial intelligence processors, and our payments and analytics providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

You may stop using the Service and delete your membership at any time through the account tools in the app or by contacting us. We may suspend or end your membership if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect members and the House. When your membership ends, your right to use the Service stops, and we will handle your information as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Dommi does not conduct criminal background checks on members and does not verify that members are who they claim to be. You are responsible for your own interactions and for any decision to meet or engage with another member. Take reasonable precautions, and use the safety features the Service provides. Dommi is not responsible for the conduct of any member, whether online or in the real world.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dommi and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dommi from any claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
